Our Elite SKILLZ program teaches life skills!

Teenagers are at an age where they are open to many ideas, they hear a lot about life, and they are at a vulnerable age to make decisions that can affect their future. Our elite SKILLZ program is as much about stability and motivation as it is about the physical components. Teens are notoriously focused inward, and training gives them the opportunity to define themselves in a different way.  We also focus a lot on making sure that our teens feel as though this is their family, to whom they can come without judgment! 

For adults, we provide a place where they can get into better shape or maintain the levels of fitness they had when they were younger.  We want to not only teach new skills that keep the mind and body quick and agile, but also teach stress reduction and mindfulness. Adults need an encouraging environment just as much as the kids, and we want to be a place where they can leave the stress and chaos of the days behind and focus on themselves and becoming their best selves! We believe that we never stop growing and developing as humans and as martial artists.

No matter the age, our elite SKILLZ program will help you overcome challenges in your life, learn how to carry yourself around others, learn how to treat others well, and manage your emotions. Adults and children alike struggle with focus. Every day and every moment, our attention is pulled in a million different directions. Simple things such as buying a cup of coffee or finishing spelling homework become enormous tasks in which we need to balance multiple types of stimulus. Martial arts provide us with the tools we need to set aside distractions and to concentrate on a single goal, a single moment, a single task.
